【品種來源】本品為豆科多年生落葉藤本植物野葛 (Pueraria lobata (Willd.) ohwi) 或甘葛藤 (Pueraria thomsonii benth.) 的根。

分佈於中國南北各地。春秋兩季採挖，切片，曬乾。生用或煨用。
